The game of Quidditch was invented by the famous author of the Harry Potter books, JK Rowling, the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
The game is played by wizards and witches, and for the first time on the Hogwarts school grounds. The viewer is first introduced it when Harry Potter is invited to join the team after he was seen disobeying orders, commands his broom with wild abandon and control, by one of his professors.
On broomsticks, the players try to take the ball through a small three tires at each end of the field is 500 yards in length. The players may not do anything to stop the ball from his goal and intercept him and to his own goal. Like any other ball based games, there are goals at each end and the players have to perform certain tasks.
Chaser - The team member the task of removing the Quaffle and the other team scoring, assigned as its name indicates. There are three hunters per team.
Drummer - A drummer is a member who drive a separate flask, a Bludger the other team in order to prevent use of scoring. There are two batsmen in each team.
Keeper - The position of goalkeeper is a bit like the goalkeeper. Its mission is to stop the ball from the other team from scoring. There is a guard on each Quidditch team.
Seeker - The applicant is accused of catching the snitch. This feat finished the game and has 150 points for the team in a position to this incredible task. Harry Potter is playing as a researcher.
